I grew up in Mexico, where family, community and caring for others are woven into everyday life. I learned early that we are shaped by the people around us, and that what we have carries greater meaning when it is shared. These values have stayed with me wherever life has taken me.

Over time, I have come to understand that care is more than a feeling. It is something we express through the choices we make, the relationships we nurture and the way we treat the people and places connected to our work.

Building Terraluma with Julien is our way of bringing that same care and responsibility into what we create. We want to listen before acting, work alongside people who share these values and build companies and initiatives that are useful, honest and grounded in real relationships.

I believe that a business can succeed while sharing value fairly with the communities, cultures and places that make its success possible. When people feel respected and included, what we create together becomes stronger, more meaningful and more enduring.

This is the work I want to dedicate my life to: bringing people together, building with heart and creating opportunities that extend beyond ourselves. It is also the example we hope to offer our children: success in life is about much more than what we build. It is found in how we care for one another, what we share and what we leave for the generations that follow.
